Shane is a dynamic consultant with over 15 years of consulting experience in the field of Organizational Development, Coaching and Human Resources. His professional focuses include organizational change, leadership and team development, change management, strategic planning and leadership coaching with a passion for employee attraction, retention and engagement practices. Shane recognizes the roles organizations and leaders need to play to ensure success in a marketplace that continues to face unprecedented economic and labour changes.
Shane is the founder and Senior Principle for New Quest Coaching & Consulting, which has become a leader in Western Canada with their work around Human Resources, Organizational Development and Executive and Leadership Coaching. New Quest Coaching & Consulting has also received critical acclaim for its ground-breaking research in today’s labour market.
Shane is a sought after speaker and facilitator. He has travelled extensively to give keynotes and workshops, sharing research results, insightful solutions and ideas for leaders and organizations around building highly engaged teams, workplaces and also at the same time ensuring bottom line results. Shane has extensive experience working with both profit and non-profit organizations, including government and health care. He is also well versed in working with unionized environments and has achieved great success in providing win-win situations for all parties.
Shane holds a Master of Arts (MA) with a specialization in Leadership & Organizational Development from the Leadership Institute of Seattle and has a degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria. He is also a highly experienced and certified executive coach. In the coaching field, he is a member of the International Coaching Federation, which is renowned for its globally recognized credentialing program. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University (CEC) and has been an Executive Coach for the prestigious Banff Centre - Peter Lougheed Leadership Institute. Shane’s commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development means he holds a number of certifications in the field of leadership such as: certification in the emotional intelligence assessments of EQ-i 2.0 & EQ 360, a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) trainer, certified facilitator for Achieve Global, a leader in the field of training and development for organizations, teams and leaders and is also a proud member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS) and the Global Speakers Federation (GSF).
Sasja is an engaging leadership development consultant and executive coach with extensive experience in a wide variety of government and private sector industries. Her areas of expertise include leadership and team development, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, employee engagement, customer loyalty and advocacy.
Sasja’s consulting practice is shaped in particular by her passion for developing healthier workplaces, relationships, and individuals – people who feel physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused and aligned with a sense of purpose. Well known for her work in engagement, communication and conflict resolution, Sasja is an expert at helping people create the relationships they need to succeed – one conversation at a time. A dynamic and inspirational speaker, trainer, and facilitator, she has delivered keynote speeches for the Conference Board of Canada, the Alberta Human Resource Management Association, and various organizations and associations within Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.
As a coach, Sasja is passionate about working with individuals and relationships (partners, teams, organizations). Her vision is to inspire leaders to develop their full potential and to shift the thinking and behaviours that are holding them back from reaching it. Sasja holds a Masters Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Lethbridge. She is certified as Professional Coach through the Coaches Training Institute (International Coaching Federation recognized), and has advanced certification in Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching process for executives. Sasja is qualified to administer Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and is a certified facilitator for various advanced leadership programs such as Clear Leadership and Power + Systems.
Michael Lenz is a professional certified coach, trainer and facilitator with over 25 years of experience. During his tenure, he has developed and implemented relationship management processes, designed curriculum, and delivered communication skills training. The focus of Michael’s facilitation includes, but is not limited to strategic planning, executive and managerial coaching, customer loyalty, change management, leadership development and team development.
Michael’s passion is the automotive industry where he has acquired his vast knowledge of dealership processes at both the retail level, with several large import and domestic dealerships and at the wholesale level, through direct employment with a major import manufacturer.
His aptitude of the automotive industry, combined with his insight of the consumer, has resulted in strong dealer relationships across Canada. He has successfully trained in sales, management and fixed operations in over 650 dealers across Canada. In the last decade, Michael has delivered over 7000 hours of offsite training workshops to thousands of corporate and automotive participants.
Michael has a strong focus on driving performance and improving profitability for all of our clients, all the while advocating a mission to deliver the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
As the HR specialist for New Quest Coaching & Consulting, Lisa brings 20 years of progressive HR experience in all aspects of HR including HR infrastructure, policies, procedures and practices; leadership development and building high performing teams; organizational development, employee engagement and culture; employee and labour relations; total rewards; organizational and job design; recruitment, talent management and more.
Lisa’s philosophy is that overall success comes from real and authentic relationships. She provides a strategic, yet practical and innovative approach to human resources allowing meaningful HR solutions to be successfully delivered on objectives.
Like the rest of the great team at New Quest, Lisa believes in fostering and building strong relationships with all stakeholders and partners she works with and inspiring others to be their best. Lisa is committed to the growth of herself and her profession by being very involved with Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of BC and Yukon, mentoring entrepreneurs and students, volunteering in her community on multiple boards and committees, and traveling abroad to do philanthropic work.
Lisa is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and also a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and holds a Master of Arts in Leadership through Royal Roads University. Lisa’s background includes working for, and consulting with, complex organizations including private sector, start-up development projects, global resource sector, public sector and crown corporations (multi-geographic, as well as small to extremely large organizations - 30 employees up to 18,000 employees); non-union and unionized environments providing strategic and operational human resource management and project management on large organizational and change initiatives
Reza’s education and skills in engineering, roles in HR and leadership development, and training and experience as an executive coach all come to together to when he works with leaders to address their most relevant developmental challenges. As a coach, he helps his clients transform how they lead and communicate with others. He helps leaders get clear on what drives them, how they define themselves, and what is most important to them. Reza’s clients value his intelligence, results-driven approach, and genuine warmth.
Before Reza joined the New Quest team, he spent the first 10 years of his career as a research and supply development engineer at Ballard Power Systems and Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation. He found his passion and purpose when he shifted from engineering to a role in human resources. As a Senior HR Generalist at Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation, Reza managed recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development and went on to become a certified executive coach. In this role, he created a coaching and leadership development program that improved employee engagement levels by 25%, increased leadership effectiveness results by 300%, and reduced employee turnover by 100%.
Reza was honored to receive the prestigious PRISM coaching award from the International Coach Federation (ICF) at the national level in 2016, and again at the international level in 2017, for his work co-creating a culture of coaching and development. As a coach, Reza has coached leaders in technology (Adobe), pharmaceuticals (Roche Holding AG), automotive (Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company), hospitality and entertainment (Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, BCLC), telecommunications (TELUS), government (The Port of Vancouver), and financial services (KPMG).
